IIE DIGITAL DESK :  West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has fired back at the recent warning issued by political strategist Sukantar, who dubbed the forthcoming elections in the state as ‘Operation Bengal.’ In a spirited public address, Banerjee challenged the opposition and all skeptics, urging voters to participate decisively in the election process and dismissing any attempts to intimidate or disrupt democratic exercises.

The phrase ‘Operation Bengal’ coined by Sukantar has been interpreted by political observers as a coded message indicating a high-stakes campaign strategy, allegedly aimed at unsettling the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) by various means including political sabotage and misinformation.
