Bus Accident in Howrah Claims 20 Victims
Howrah (August 22,2023) : A head-on collision between two buses in Howrah on Tuesday left at least 20 people injured. The accident occurred at Baltikuiry crossing on NH-16. The buses were coming from opposite directions when they collided. The impact of the collision was so severe that both buses were badly damaged. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, where they are being treated. The condition of some of the injured is said to be critical.
The cause of the accident is not yet known. However, it is suspected that one of the drivers may have been negligent. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The accident has caused a traffic jam in the area. The police are trying to clear the traffic. The Howrah traffic police has urged motorists to be careful while driving and to avoid rash driving. They have also asked people to report any suspicious activity to the police.
