West Bengal (July 27,2023) : BJP workers in West Bengal are fearful of the TMC's "Khela Hobe" (Game On) slogan, which they say is being used to intimidate them. The slogan was first used by TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee in the run-up to the 2021 assembly elections. It was seen as a call to arms for TMC supporters to defeat the BJP. Since then, the slogan has been used by TMC supporters in a variety of ways. It has been chanted at rallies, painted on walls, and even used as a hashtag on social media.

BJP workers say that the slogan has created a climate of fear in the state. They say that they have been threatened and attacked by TMC supporters. In some cases, BJP workers have been forced to leave their homes. Others have been arrested on false charges. The BJP has sent a report to party president JP Nadda, detailing the allegations of intimidation. Nadda has asked the party's state unit to take steps to protect its workers.
