Bardhaman University hostel supers questioned over ragging allegations
Burdwaman (August 17,2023) : The authorities of Bardhaman University have started an investigation into allegations of ragging in several of its hostels. As part of the investigation, the hostel supers have been questioned today. The hostel supers have said that some seniors rag the freshers in some hostels. This causes the freshers to suffer mentally.
The university authorities have said that they will take strict action to stop ragging. They have said that action will be taken against the hostel supers of the hostels where ragging takes place. Ragging of freshers is a punishable offence. The university authorities have said that strict action will be taken against those involved in ragging.
