
IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Tarkeshwar, June 4: Extensive administrative preparations have begun in view of the possible visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Tarkeshwar on June 20. As part of these preparations, an important high-level meeting was held on Thursday at the Tarkeshwar BDO office.
The meeting was attended by Tarkeshwar MLA Santoo Pan, the BDO, DSP, BLRO, and senior officials from various administrative departments. Detailed discussions were held regarding security arrangements, traffic management, crowd control, healthcare services, drinking water supply, fire safety measures, cleanliness, and other infrastructural requirements in connection with the Prime Minister’s visit.
To administrative sources, special emphasis has been placed on ensuring that the general public does not face any inconvenience on the day of the visit and that all programmes are conducted smoothly. Coordination among different departments was also reviewed, along with inspections of the proposed venue and surrounding areas.
The meeting, MLA Santoo Pan discussed the overall preparedness with officials and urged all departments to work in coordination to ensure the success of the visit.
Officials have stated that several more preparatory meetings will be held in the coming days. Security and infrastructure-related arrangements will be reviewed in phases, and necessary steps will be taken accordingly.
The possibility of the Prime Minister’s visit has generated enthusiasm among local residents, while the administration continues to move forward with preparations under strict vigilance and coordination.
