
Norway took the lead through Kristoffer Ajer, putting Portugal under pressure early in the contest. However, Portugal responded quickly, with Joao Cancelo finding the equaliser and bringing the defending champions back into the match.
Portugal continued to control the game after restoring parity and created a series of attacking opportunities. Their pressure eventually paid off in the second half when Goncalo Ramos scored to put Portugal ahead and complete the comeback.
Portugal dominated both possession and attacking statistics throughout the match. The home side enjoyed more than 55 per cent possession and produced 20 attempts on goal, with seven of those efforts finding the target. Norway, meanwhile, managed nine shots during the match, with three on target.
The victory maintained Portugal’s perfect record in the competition. They have now won all four of their matches and collected 12 points, securing their place in the last eight with two rounds of the group stage still remaining.
Portugal’s latest victory also underlined their status as the defending champions, with the team continuing to show consistency and attacking strength as they look to retain the Nations League title.
In another match on the same day, Denmark defeated Wales 1-0 to move onto six points in Group 4 of League A. The result put Denmark in second place in the group.
Norway, meanwhile, suffered their third consecutive defeat after beginning the campaign with a victory. They remain on three points, level with Wales, although their recent run of defeats has put them in a difficult position in the group.
With Portugal already assured of a place in the quarter-finals, attention will now turn to the remaining matches as the other teams battle for their positions in the group and a chance to progress to the knockout stage.
