Mumbai (June 28,2023) : Mumbai civic workers have demanded action against Maharashtra minister Anil Parab over the alleged demolition of a Shiv Sena shakha in the city. The workers, who are members of the Municipal Employees' Federation, have said that the demolition was illegal and that Parab should be held accountable. The shakha was allegedly demolished on June 22, 2023, by a team of BMC officials led by Parab. The workers said that the demolition was carried out without any prior notice and that the shakha was not in violation of any rules.

The workers have also alleged that Parab was motivated by political rivalry. They said that the shakha was located in an area that is considered to be a stronghold of the opposition BJP. The BMC has denied the allegations of illegality and said that the demolition was carried out in accordance with the law. However, the workers have said that they will not back down until Parab is held accountable.
