CJP's Abhijeet Dipke Takes Swipe at RSS Outreach to Gen Z, Says Youth Has Already Changed Politics
IIE Digital Desk: Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has expressed doubts about the timing and purpose of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's planned meetings with Gen Z and Gen Alpha, stating that India've already seen a shift in political discourse among the youth. Prior to his speech at a youth event in Mumbai on August 6, Bhagwat is expected to address approximately 200 students and young delegates.
The impact of young people on society has prompted Prime Minister Narendra Modi to adapt to changing communication trends, as stated by Dipke in his response to the outreach. He said Gen Z's influence on public opinion and political debate has led political leaders to increasingly turn to online platforms. ".
Against the backdrop of the CJP's recent nationwide demonstrations against examination irregularities and unemployment, Dipke made his comments. With the help of social media campaigns, the movement has gained prominence and emerged as a prominent youth movement in recent times. It has brought up issues such as education reforms, accountability, and employment that are now being debated nationally. According to the RSS chief, the younger generation should prioritize understanding and pursuing explanations, rational analysis (rather than blind obedience), as opposed to authority. Opposition leaders have criticized the planned interaction. When police responded to student protests on the streets, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray questioned where the RSS leadership was at during the outreach. But his comments added to the political tension surrounding the event.
