IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Dehradun, October 6: BJP candidate Dinesh Arya formally filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election at the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly on Tuesday in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The nomination process marked an important step in the BJP’s preparations for the Rajya Sabha election in the state.

After Dinesh Arya submitted his nomination papers, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his gratitude to the BJP’s central leadership for selecting Arya as the party’s candidate. Dhami said the nomination had been formally submitted and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP national president and the party high command for taking the decision.

“The nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha election have been filed. Our candidate Dinesh Arya has submitted his nomination. I would like to thank the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, the national president of the party and the party high command for this decision. On behalf of the people of Uttarakhand, I express my gratitude to them,” Dhami said.

Speaking about Dinesh Arya’s political journey and his background, the Chief Minister said that Arya had come from a very ordinary family and had worked with dedication for the party and the state while taking on several organisational responsibilities.

Dhami said the BJP’s central leadership had chosen Arya for the Rajya Sabha election after considering his political journey and contribution to the party. He also described the nomination as a significant message for BJP workers across the state and the organisation.

“He has come from a very ordinary family and has worked with dedication for the party and the state in several responsibilities. The party high command has nominated him for the Rajya Sabha election,” Dhami said.

The Uttarakhand Chief Minister further said that Arya’s nomination sends a clear message to every party worker that the BJP is an organisation where any dedicated worker can be entrusted with an important responsibility. He added that every party worker also has the ability to take on and discharge responsibilities assigned by the organisation.

“With his entry into the Rajya Sabha, a clear message has reached all party workers that the BJP is a party that can assign any responsibility to any worker and that every worker also has the ability to shoulder any responsibility,” Dhami said.

The nomination of Dinesh Arya has therefore been projected by the BJP leadership not only as an electoral decision but also as an example of the party’s organisational structure and its emphasis on giving responsibilities to workers who have served the organisation.

With the nomination papers now formally submitted, attention will turn to the next stages of the Rajya Sabha election process in Uttarakhand. The BJP leadership is expected to focus on ensuring support for its candidate as the electoral process moves forward.
