Three Shops Gutted in Fire at Metiabruz Market
Metiaburuz (July 05,2023) : A fire broke out at a market in Metiabruz, Kolkata, on Tuesday, gutting three shops. The fire started around 11:30 AM and quickly spread to the three shops, which were selling clothes and fabric.
The fire was brought under control by the fire department after about four hours, but not before causing significant damage to the shops. The owners of the shops estimate that they have lost lakhs of rupees worth of goods in the fire.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, but it is suspected that it may have been caused by a short circuit. The fire department is investigating the matter. The fire department has advised people to be careful and to avoid using electrical appliances that are not in good condition. They have also asked people to report any suspicious activity to the police.
