Rotten body of old man, skeleton of woman recovered from Belghoria house
Belghoria,Kolkata (June 27,2023): The decomposed body of an elderly man and the skeleton of a woman were recovered from a house in Belghoria, Kolkata, on Tuesday. The house belonged to a retired government official, identified as 70-year-old Rabindranath Chatterjee. He had been living alone in the house for the past few years after his wife died.
The bodies were found by Chatterjee's neighbors, who had not seen him in a few days and became concerned. They broke into the house and found the bodies in the bedroom. The cause of death of the elderly man is not yet known. The skeleton of the woman is believed to be that of Chatterjee's wife, who died several years ago. The police have not ruled out foul play and are investigating the matter.
