Kolkata (July 01,2023): The online portal for college admissions in West Bengal will go live at midnight on Friday, June 30. Students will be able to apply for admission to undergraduate courses in state-run colleges through the portal. The portal, which is called the West Bengal College Admission System (WBCAS), was developed by the West Bengal State Council of Higher Education (WBSHEC). The WBCAS will allow students to apply for admission to any of the 360 state-run colleges in West Bengal.

Students will need to register themselves on the WBCAS portal before they can apply for admission. They will also need to upload their academic transcripts, mark sheets, and other required documents. The application process for college admissions in West Bengal will be completely online. Students will not need to visit any college or government office to apply for admission. The last date for submitting applications through the WBCAS portal is July 15, 2023. The results of the admissions will be announced on July 25, 2023.
