Father and Son Killed in Road Accident in Behala, Locals Protest
Kolkata (August 04,2023) : Father and son were killed in a road accident in Behala on Friday morning. The accident took place near the Behala Chowrasta when a speeding truck hit the duo, who were crossing the road. The father, identified as 45-year-old Sujit Mandal, was a primary school teacher. The son, 10-year-old Sourav Mandal, was a student of Class 5.
The locals rushed the duo to a nearby hospital, where they were declared brought dead. The accident has caused widespread anger among the locals. They have blocked the road and are demanding justice for the victims. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
