Kolkata ( July 24,2023) : The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) is worried over the increasing number of dengue cases in the city. As of July 24, 2023, there have been 33 cases of dengue reported in Kolkata, with 6 of them in the northern ward number 6.

The KMC has taken a number of measures to control the spread of dengue, including spraying insecticides, clearing garbage, and educating the public about the disease. However, the measures have not been effective enough to prevent the spread of the disease. The KMC is now urging the people of Kolkata to take precautions to prevent dengue. These precautions include using mosquito nets, wearing long-sleeved clothing, and avoiding stagnant water.
