Cable car stranded with tourists at the height of 1200 feet in Pakistan

Islamabad (August 22,2023) : A cable car carrying tourists got stuck at a height of 1200 feet in the Nathiagali area of Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday. The cable car was carrying 11 tourists, including two children. The tourists were rescued after a six-hour operation by the army and the civil administration. The tourists were taken to a nearby hospital for medical examination. They were all found to be safe and sound.

The cause of the breakdown is not yet known. However, the authorities have ordered an investigation. The Nathiagali area is a popular tourist destination in Pakistan. The cable car is a popular way to reach the top of the hill station. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of tourists in the area. The authorities have assured tourists that the cable car will be thoroughly inspected before it is allowed to operate again.
