The report, by the Center for Global Development, found that the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan is "extremely dire" and that the country is facing a "perfect storm" of crises.
The report highlighted the following challenges:
The economy is in freefall, with the value of the Afghan currency plummeting and inflation soaring.
Millions of people are facing food insecurity, and the risk of famine is growing.
The health system is on the brink of collapse, with hospitals running out of essential supplies.
Millions of children are out of school, and the education system is in disarray.
