IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Mumbai: Actress Sonakshi Sinha is happily enjoying married life with her husband Zaheer Iqbal, but recent reports suggest that she has decided to rent out one of her most cherished properties in Mumbai. The luxurious apartment, located in the upscale Bandra area, has reportedly been leased to the Consulate General of Kuwait for a period of one year. According to property registration documents, the rental agreement is valued at approximately ₹1.92 crore.

The records indicate that the apartment has been rented by the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait. The residence is expected to be used by the Consul General of Kuwait, along with family members and official staff during their stay in Mumbai. The arrangement highlights the premium nature of the property, which is situated in one of the city's most sought-after residential locations.

The apartment is located within the prestigious residential complex known as 81 Aureate in Bandra. Positioned along the seafront, the luxury high-rise has long been a preferred address for celebrities, business personalities, and high-profile residents. When Sonakshi originally purchased a property in the development, it attracted significant attention due to the exclusivity and reputation of the complex.

What makes this particular apartment especially significant for Sonakshi is its emotional value. The residence holds special memories because it served as the venue for her wedding celebrations. The actress and Zaheer Iqbal hosted important wedding-related events at the apartment, making it closely associated with one of the most memorable occasions of her life.

This is not the first real-estate transaction involving Sonakshi Sinha within the same residential complex. Earlier, the actress sold another apartment in the building. According to reports, she had purchased that property in 2020 for approximately ₹14 crore and later sold it in 2025 for around ₹22.5 crore. The sale represented an impressive appreciation of nearly 61 percent in value over a five-year period, highlighting the strong growth of luxury real estate in the area.

While the decision to rent out an apartment connected to such personal memories may come as a surprise to many fans, it appears to be a strategic property move rather than a sentimental one. The lease agreement with the Kuwaiti Consulate ensures that the premium residence remains occupied by official diplomatic personnel while also generating substantial rental income.

Despite renting out the apartment, there is no indication that Sonakshi and Zaheer are making any major changes to their personal life or living arrangements. The couple continues to enjoy married life, while Sonakshi's latest real-estate decision has once again drawn attention to her growing portfolio of high-value properties and smart investment choices in Mumbai's luxury housing market.
