Stree 2: Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor Unveil Theme of New Film

IIE Digital Desk : The much-awaited sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy Stree is finally here. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor took to social media on Monday to unveil the theme of the film.

The theme of Stree 2 is "fear of the unknown." In the first film, the residents of Chanderi were terrorized by a witch who only attacked men after 10 pm. In the sequel, the fear will be even more primal and inexplicable.

Rao and Kapoor also released a motion poster for the film, which shows them standing in front of a temple. The poster is captioned "Stree 2: Here to rip your hearts out." Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on August 31, 2024.
