IIE DIGITAL: Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming detective drama “Queen Victoria Aar Goyenda Kanaicharan” is already generating excitement among Bengali film enthusiasts with its intriguing storyline and unexpected surprises. After introducing actress Idhika’s unique cricket inspired appearance, where she was seen practising with the bat under the personal guidance of the director, Srijit has now brought another exciting element into the spotlight.

The latest attraction of the film is the reported musical collaboration between Srijit Mukherji and Anirban Bhattacharya. The actor and singer is set to lend his voice to a song composed by Srijit, creating a fresh artistic partnership that is expected to leave a special impression on audiences.

Although Anirban previously sang in Srijit’s 2019 film “Shah Jahan Regency”, this will be the first time he will perform a song under Srijit’s own musical composition. Their creative combination is expected to bring a unique emotional depth to the film’s soundtrack.

Produced by Camellia Productions, the film is based on the fictional detective character created by writer Rajarshi Das Bhowmik. The story has been adapted from his work “Kalapanir Disha”, which follows the mysterious journey and investigations of Kanaicharan.

Actor Jisshu Sengupta will portray the role of the detective in the film. Srijit’s fascination with thriller and mystery narratives is well known, with films like “Baishe Srabon”, “Chotushkone” and “Doshom Awbotar” showcasing his ability to blend suspense with strong storytelling.
