Allegedly, the actor had to terminate his relationship with debuting director Rahul Mody because of differences over the creative direction before filming could begin.

Even though Aamir is no longer alive, the biopic remains on course. Despite the project's success, actress Shraddha Kapoor remains attached as both the producer and lead actor. The film's direction will be under Rahul Mody'S, and she is expected to play the role of Madhuri Jain Grover, the wife of Ashneer Grove.
