Vivo Y21 5G and Vivo Y11 5G India Prices Leak Ahead of Launch, Key Features Revealed

IIE DIGITAL DESK : Smartphone maker Vivo is reportedly preparing to expand its Y-series lineup in India with the upcoming launch of the Vivo Y21 5G and Vivo Y11 5G. Although the company has not officially confirmed the India launch, leaked details have surfaced online, revealing expected pricing, colour options, and key specifications of both handsets.

The Vivo Y21 5G is likely to be priced at Rs. 18,499 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The higher configurations, including 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB, are expected to be priced at Rs. 20,499 and Rs. 22,499, respectively. Meanwhile, the Vivo Y11 5G is tipped to start at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 4GB + 128GB model could be priced at Rs. 16,999.

Terms of design and colour options, the Vivo Y21 5G is expected to be available in Champagne Gold and Midnight Blue shades. The Vivo Y11 5G, on the other hand, may arrive in Midnight Blue and Sunshine Gold colour variants. These details, however, remain unofficial until the company makes a formal announcement.

Both smartphones are expected to feature hardware similar to their global counterparts. They may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, offering reliable performance for everyday tasks and 5G connectivity. The devices are also likely to pack large 6,500mAh batteries, ensuring extended usage, with support for fast charging — 44W for the Vivo Y21 5G and 15W for the Vivo Y11 5G.

The Vivo Y21 5G and Vivo Y11 5G are tipped to sport 6.74-inch LCD displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, promising a smooth and vibrant viewing experience. Additionally, both handsets could come with an IP65 rating, providing resistance against dust and water.

The software front, the devices are expected to run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, offering the latest features and improved user experience. In the camera department, the Vivo Y21 5G is likely to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, while the Vivo Y11 5G may come with a 13-megapixel main sensor. Both models are expected to include a secondary QVGA sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

The leaked information suggests that Vivo is aiming to strengthen its presence in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment in India. However, final specifications and pricing will only be confirmed once the company officially unveils the devices in the coming weeks.
