IIE DIGITAL DESK :  June 26, 2025 – Samsung has expanded its Smart Monitor portfolio, introducing the flagship M9, alongside refreshed M8 and M7 models—all featuring 32-inch 4K displays and a suite of smart features tailored for work, entertainment, and gaming.

At the center of the new launch is the Smart Monitor M9 (model M90SF)—Samsung’s first 32″ QD‑OLED display in the Smart Monitor line.This premium panel combines the deep blacks and vibrant colors of OLED with quantum dot brightness and clarity. Certified by Pantone, it promises color accuracy over 2,100 hues and 110 skin tones, ideal for creators .

The M9 also answers gaming needs with a 165 Hz refresh rate, ultra-fast 0.03 ms response time, and NVIDIA G‑SYNC/AMD FreeSync support. To guard against burn-in, Samsung has introduced OLED Safeguard+, a built-in cooling system with active heat pipes and AI brightness control.

On the intelligence front, the M9 incorporates AI Picture Optimizer, 4K AI Upscaling Pro, and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) Pro—adjusting visuals and audio dynamically based on content and surroundings.Aesthetically, it sports an ultra-slim metal design (under 10 mm thick) with glare-resistant coating.

Hardware perks include a Solar Cell Remote, built-in 4K webcam with IR face detection, far-field mic array, 10‑W stereo speakers, and a USB-C port offering 90 W power delivery .

The new M8 (M80F) and M7 (M70F) sustain the 32″ 4K format, utilizing VA panels for rich contrast ideal for everyday users. These models now benefit from Samsung’s AI-powered features such as Click to Search, AI Picture Optimizer, and AVA Pro, merging productivity and content discovery.

Users can seamlessly access Microsoft 365 apps, perform split-screen multitasking with Multi View, and control other Samsung devices via Multi Control and SmartThings integration.

In a bold move for consumer electronics, Samsung offers up to seven years of One UI Tizen OS updates across the M9, M8, and M7 lines—ensuring long-term software support and feature enhancements.

Each monitor supports AirPlay 2, Knox security, and Samsung TV Plus, with the M9 adding a high-end webcam for conferencing .

Samsung confirmed global availability starting this month, though India-specific launch dates are pending. South Korean pricing, per SamMobile, is:

• M9: KRW 1.99 million (~US $1,599),

• M8: KRW 900,000 (~US $699),

• M7 32″: KRW 560,000 (~US $399),

• M7 43″: KRW 690,000 (~US $499)
