IIE DIGITAL DESK : Realme has officially launched its latest budget 5G smartphone, the Realme P4 Lite 5G, in India, expanding its P4 series lineup which already includes the P4, P4x, and P4 Pro 5G models. The new device focuses on delivering a powerful combination of long battery life, high-refresh-rate display performance, and efficient 5G processing at an affordable price segment.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor, paired with an Airflow vapour chamber cooling system designed to improve heat dissipation during heavy usage such as gaming and multitasking. Realme claims the thermal system includes a large 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area, helping maintain stable performance under load.

One of the biggest highlights of the Realme P4 Lite 5G is its massive 7,000mAh battery, which positions it among the highest-capacity smartphones in its category. The device supports fast charging and is aimed at users who prioritize extended usage without frequent recharging.

On the display front, the handset features a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 900 nits peak brightness, offering a smoother and more responsive visual experience for scrolling, gaming, and media consumption.

The smartphone runs on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 and comes with a promise of two years of major OS updates and three years of security patches, ensuring long-term software support.

For photography, the Realme P4 Lite 5G includes a dual rear camera setup led by a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, while the front houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera designed for basic photography and video calling needs.

The device supports dual SIM functionality and offers connectivity features including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. It also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, adding durability for everyday use.

The Realme P4 Lite 5G starts at ₹12,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹13,999, while the top-end 6GB + 128GB model costs ₹15,999. The smartphone is available in Mosaic Blue and Mosaic Green colour options and can be purchased via Flipkart, Realme’s official website, and offline retail stores across India.

As part of launch offers, Realme is providing a flat ₹1,000 discount along with an additional ₹500 bank offer, while existing Realme users can also avail an extra ₹500 exchange bonus, making the device even more attractive in the budget 5G segment.
