IIE DIGITAL DESK : Oppo’s next flagship, the Find X9 Pro, has surfaced in fresh leaks that sketch out its memory and storage tiers, colour palette, and a handful of hardware highlights — information that arrives ahead of an expected China debut and appears to originate from a Weibo post by the well-known tipster “Digital Chat Station.” According to the leak, the X9 Pro will be offered in four configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM paired with either 512GB or a roomy 1TB option; a special “BeiDou Satellite SMS” edition is also said to be planned for the top 16GB/1TB trim. These capacity options would position the X9 Pro as a memory-heavy flagship aimed at power users and heavy multitaskers. 

Colour choices for the phone are expected to be fairly conventional yet distinctive, with White, Purple-Gray and Magenta listed as the likely finishes. The leak also suggests the handset will be noticeably heavy for a modern flagship — roughly 224 grams — which, if accurate, makes it heavier than last year’s model and consistent with rumours of a larger battery and extensive camera hardware. 

Under the hood, multiple reports indicate Oppo will equip the Find X9 Pro with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, a platform that would keep the device competitive on performance while helping with thermals and efficiency. Camera rumours for the series have been loud: the Pro is widely linked to a substantial camera upgrade that may include a 50MP main sensor and a high-resolution periscope telephoto module — leaks elsewhere have even pointed to a 200MP telephoto sensor in the broader X9 family — signalling Oppo’s continued push on photographic hardware and zoom capabilities. 

Battery and charging claims circulating in the same leak cycle paint an eye-catching picture: several outlets picking up the Weibo post have suggested the Find X9 Pro could carry a very large battery (reports have mentioned figures up to 7,500mAh in related X9 models), paired with fast wired and wireless charging support, potentially including higher-speed wireless charging than its predecessor. If true, that would explain part of the device’s projected weight and would mark a clear pivot toward endurance as a selling point for the lineup. These hardware upgrades, however, remain unconfirmed until Oppo issues official specifications. 

As with most pre-launch leaks, details can shift between tip and truth; Oppo’s India and global launch plans may also trim or change configuration availability compared with what’s expected for China. Pricing and exact launch windows aren’t yet public, though early coverage speculates that if Oppo opts to launch a 16GB/512GB model in India — mirroring last year’s availability — a sub-₹1 lakh asking price would be plausible for the flagship variant. Until Oppo makes an official announcement, enthusiasts should treat the memory, camera and battery claims as informed rumours that point to a bolder, more endurance-focused Find X9 Pro.
