IIE DIGITAL DESK : The upcoming OnePlus 15T has been the subject of several fresh leaks that spotlight its rear camera setup and other important specifications, giving tech enthusiasts an early look at what the next compact flagship from OnePlus might bring to the table. According to a recent report based on a Weibo leak, the OnePlus 15T could arrive with a dual camera arrangement on the back that closely mirrors the cameras on the last generation, indicating that OnePlus might be sticking with a familiar imaging formula for this model while still offering flagship grade performance.

The leaked details suggest that the rear camera system will consist of two 50 megapixel sensors—a primary camera and a secondary camera—likely replacing the ultrawide module with a telephoto lens setup. The main camera is expected to use Sony’s LYTIA 700 sensor featuring optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.8 aperture, while the secondary 50MP sensor, reportedly a Samsung ISOCELL JN5 unit, could offer telephoto imaging with its own OIS support and an f/2.8 aperture. This dual camera configuration, if confirmed, would deliver strong performance in both everyday and zoom photography, though the overall hardware may feel familiar to users of the OnePlus 13T.

Leaks also highlight that alongside the rear cameras, the OnePlus 15T might include a 16MP front shooter for high quality selfies and video calls, aligning with current expectations for premium selfie performance. Storage and memory options could span up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, providing ample space and multitasking capability for demanding users. The phone is also tipped to run on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a flagship class processor that should ensure fast performance across apps, gaming and everyday tasks.

A vibrant 6.32 inch display with a 1.5K resolution and smooth scrolling at a 165Hz refresh rate is expected to adorn the front of the OnePlus 15T, making it one of the few high performance compact phones in a market that increasingly favors larger screens. The combination of a high refresh panel with flagship level internals could make the 15T attractive to users who seek premium performance without the bulk of larger smartphones.

Battery life is another area where the OnePlus 15T may impress. Rumored capacity figures suggest a large 7500mAh battery paired with up to 100W wired charging support and possibly even wireless charging. This would provide long battery life for heavy use and fast recharge speeds, contrasting sharply with the trend toward mid sized batteries in many competing flagships.

Additional tips include potential support for MagSafe style wireless charging accessories and an ultra thin magnetic cooling system, both of which reflect OnePlus’ effort to blend performance with convenience and modern features. If these details hold true, the OnePlus 15T will offer a compelling mix of camera capabilities, display quality, processing power and battery endurance, all in a compact flagship package that appeals to tech loyalists and mainstream users alike.

While none of these specifications are officially confirmed, the growing string of leaks and teasers build a picture of a smartphone that aims to balance cutting edge power with practical everyday features. With an official launch expected soon, likely first in China before a wider global rollout, the OnePlus 15T remains one of the most anticipated releases in the premium phone segment this year.
