IIE DIGITAL DESK : OnePlus is preparing to expand its flagship lineup with the upcoming OnePlus 15T, which is officially scheduled to launch in China in the fourth week of March. The company has been steadily revealing key specifications and features ahead of its debut, building strong anticipation among smartphone enthusiasts, especially gamers and performance-focused users.

OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 15T will feature the same G2 Wi-Fi chip found in the flagship OnePlus 15, ensuring high-speed and stable connectivity. The device will also be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3nm architecture, positioning it among the most powerful smartphones in its segment.

A major highlight of the device is its dedicated gaming enhancements. The OnePlus 15T will come equipped with a next-generation “Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel,” designed to optimize system performance during intensive gaming sessions. The company claims this system will enable gameplay at up to 165 frames per second at 1.5K resolution in mainstream titles, offering a smoother and more responsive experience for competitive users.

The smartphone will also include a “Lingxi” touch response chip, aimed at improving screen responsiveness and reducing input latency during gaming. Together, these features form what OnePlus calls its “E-Sports Triple-Core” performance system, emphasizing its strong focus on mobile gaming capabilities. Early benchmarking reports suggest that the device has achieved over 4.45 million points on performance testing platforms, highlighting its flagship-level power.

Battery performance is another key strength of the OnePlus 15T, as it will be equipped with a massive 7,500mAh Glacier Battery. The company claims the battery can support up to 10.3 hours of continuous gaming, around 22.8 hours of video playback, or approximately 13 hours of navigation on a single charge. The device will also support 100W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and bypass charging technology for improved gaming efficiency while plugged in.

The OnePlus 15T is set to launch officially on March 24 at 7 pm local time in China, with pre-orders already open through the Oppo China online store. The smartphone will be available in multiple RAM and storage configurations, including 12GB and 16GB variants with up to 1TB storage, catering to both standard users and heavy performance consumers.

The handset will arrive in three premium colour options named Pure Cocoa, Relaxing Matcha, and Healing White Chocolate, reflecting a unique aesthetic approach aimed at lifestyle-oriented consumers.
