IIE DIGITAL DESK : Acer has officially launched its new Aspire 5 AI laptop in India, expanding its lineup of AI-powered computing devices aimed at productivity users, students, and professionals. The new model is designed to combine performance efficiency with artificial intelligence capabilities for modern workloads.

The laptop is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra series processors, including Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 H-series chips. These processors are integrated with Intel’s AI Boost NPU, enabling improved AI-driven tasks such as productivity optimization, voice commands, summarization, and intelligent system management.

The Acer Aspire 5 AI features a slim and lightweight design, measuring just around 17.5 mm in thickness and weighing approximately 1.2 kg, making it highly portable for users on the move. It comes with a premium metal finish and a sleek modern design aimed at professional users and students alike.

The laptop offers a 14-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) screen with an aspect ratio optimized for productivity. The panel provides sharp visuals and supports immersive viewing experiences for both work and entertainment.

Performance-wise, the device supports up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and fast data access. It is capable of handling heavy productivity applications, office workloads, and light creative tasks efficiently.

The Aspire 5 AI also comes equipped with advanced AI features integrated into Windows 11, including Microsoft Copilot functionality, allowing users to perform tasks faster and more intelligently. The presence of a dedicated Copilot key further enhances accessibility to AI tools.

Acer has also focused on battery efficiency, equipping the device with a 55Wh battery that supports fast charging via USB-C, ensuring long usage hours on a single charge.

The laptop includes modern standards such as Wi-Fi 6, multiple USB Type-C and Type-A ports, HDMI support, and Bluetooth connectivity, making it suitable for both office and remote work environments.

The Acer Aspire 5 AI laptop is priced in India at ₹79,999, positioning it in the mid-premium AI laptop segment. It will be available through Acer’s official stores, e-commerce platforms, and offline retail partners across the country.
