
IIE DIGITAL DESK : Kolkata, March 24 — The 47th edition of the All India Major Port Hockey Championship 2026 kicked off on Tuesday in Kolkata, bringing together some of the top port teams from across the country in a spirited display of sporting excellence. The tournament was formally inaugurated at the SAI Complex in Salt Lake, marking the beginning of a four-day competition filled with high-energy matches and competitive action.
The opening ceremony witnessed the حضور of senior officials from the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority, who played a key role in organizing the prestigious tournament.
