He believes that the demand is unfounded and that Modikilism still holds significant public support in India and other countries.

The comments come amid heightened political tensions in the aftermath of a Congress-led protest in New Delhi. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with other party leaders, convened on Lok Kalyan Marg near Prime Minister Modi's official residence to demonstrate against the police 'alleged crackdown on students protesting over examination matters. Demonstrators called for the resignation of Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

During the demonstration, Delhi Police apprehended several Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, further complicating ongoing political tensions between ruling BJP and the opposition.

Kangana Ranaut made it clear to the press that she was defending the Prime Minister and asked why the Congress had demanded his resignation.
