
IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Hyderabad, May 11: The Telugu film industry, young actor Bharat Kanta was killed in a devastating road accident near Hyderabad. Acclaimed cinematographer Trilok also lost his life in the same crash, casting a pall of grief over the film fraternity.
The fatal accident occurred near the Bonglur Gate on the Outer Ring Road while Bharat Kanta and Trilok were travelling by car from Nellore to Hyderabad. According to police officials, a speeding container truck rammed into their vehicle from behind, causing a violent collision. The impact of the crash was so severe that both Bharat Kanta and Trilok died on the spot.
The Adibatla Police confirmed that the accident took place near Exit 12 of the Outer Ring Road under the jurisdiction of the Adibatla Police Station in Hyderabad. Officials stated that the collision between the car and the heavy vehicle occurred late at night. A case has been registered, and an investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident is currently underway.
Preliminary reports suggest that the container truck was moving at high speed when it struck the victims’ vehicle. Authorities are examining factors such as driver negligence, road conditions, and vehicle speed as part of the probe. Further details are expected to emerge following a thorough investigation.
