Airport officials and emergency response teams rushed to the landing site to attend to all passengers on the plane. While technical experts were conducting a smoke alert in the cargo compartment, they also began inspecting the area for any potential smoke. Initially, it was reported that there was no fire, and officials are now trying to determine if the warning was caused by a technical fault or another issue. IndiGo stated that the diversion was made as'sole precautionary measure after the crew received smoke'. Passengers were urged by the airline to prioritize safety and understand that they will be affected differently, with the intention of reducing inconvenience.

Without any injuries or complications, the flight crew and ground emergency teams handled the situation quickly.
