IIE Digital Desk: Farmers in Delhi continued their demonstration against the proposed India-US trade agreement on Tuesday, as the Haryana government sealed off the Shambhu border with Punjab. The decision led to increased security, traffic congestion and tensions along a major gateway connecting Punjab and Haryana.

Thousands of farmers, led by various agricultural unions and others, have raised concerns about the impact of the trade agreement on India's farming industry. The agreement's potential impact on crop prices is being attributed to the possibility of an increase in imports of agricultural products, according to protest leaders.
