July 19, 2023 : A pilot and her husband were thrashed by locals in Delhi on Wednesday after they allegedly beat their minor domestic help.
The incident took place in Dwarka's Sector 23. The pilot and her husband, who are both in their 30s, have been identified as Pooja and Manish.
The minor domestic help, who is a 14-year-old girl, told the police that she was working at the couple's house for the past 10 days. She said that she was beaten by the couple on Wednesday morning for not cleaning the house properly.
The girl's screams were heard by the neighbors, who rushed to the house and rescued her. They then thrashed the couple and handed them over to the police. The police have registered a case against the couple under the Juvenile Justice Act and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. They have been arrested and are being questioned.
The police said that the couple has been married for five years and have no children. They are both pilots with a private airline. The police said that the minor domestic help is from a poor family in Bihar. She came to Delhi with her mother in search of work. The police said that the couple will be produced in court on Thursday.

The incident has sparked outrage in Delhi. The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has taken suo motu cognizance of the matter and has issued notice to the police. The DCW has asked the police to submit a report on the incident within 24 hours. The DCW has also asked the police to provide protection to the minor domestic help and her family. The incident has once again brought to light the plight of domestic helps in India. Domestic helps are often exploited and abused by their employers. They are often paid low wages and are subjected to long working hours. They are also often denied basic facilities such as food and accommodation.

The government needs to take steps to protect the rights of domestic helps. The government should enact a law that specifically safeguards the rights of domestic helps. The law should provide for minimum wages, paid leave, and other benefits for domestic helps.
The government should also create awareness about the rights of domestic helps. The government should launch a public awareness campaign to educate people about the rights of domestic helps.
The government should also provide training to domestic helps. The training should focus on issues such as health and safety, financial literacy, and legal rights.
The government should also set up helplines for domestic helps. The helplines should be available 24/7 and should provide assistance to domestic helps who are facing exploitation or abuse.
The government needs to take urgent steps to protect the rights of domestic helps. Domestic helps are an important part of our society and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
