IIE DIGITAL DESK ; New Delhi, May 25: Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid rich tribute to legendary revolutionary Rash Behari Bose on the occasion of his birth anniversary, saying that the nation will forever remember his indomitable courage and unparalleled dedication towards the motherland with deep respect and gratitude.

The message shared on social media platform X on Monday, Amit Shah praised Rash Behari Bose for his immense contribution to India’s freedom struggle and highlighted his extraordinary organisational abilities that helped energise the independence movement during a crucial phase of the country’s history.

The Union Home Minister stated that Rash Behari Bose infused new strength into the freedom movement through his remarkable leadership and organisational skills. He recalled that the revolutionary leader played a historic role in establishing the Indian National Army, popularly known as the Azad Hind Fauj, as well as the Indian Independence League. According to Amit Shah, Rash Behari Bose also kept the flame of India’s freedom struggle alive on foreign soil by mobilising Indians abroad through the historic Ghadar Movement.

Amit Shah noted that Rash Behari Bose transformed the dream of independence into an unshakable determination among the people of the country. He said the revolutionary’s relentless efforts and fearless patriotism inspired countless Indians to dedicate themselves to the cause of freedom during British rule.

The Home Minister further emphasised that Rash Behari Bose’s unmatched courage and limitless devotion to the nation continue to inspire generations even today. He remarked that the country would always honour and remember the revolutionary for his sacrifice, bravery and lifelong commitment to securing India’s independence.

Rash Behari Bose is regarded as one of the pioneering figures of India’s revolutionary movement and played a key role in strengthening nationalist activities both within the country and internationally. His contribution towards organising revolutionaries and laying the foundation for armed resistance against colonial rule remains an important chapter in India’s freedom struggle.
