Huge Landslide Blocks Jammu-Srinagar Highway, Traffic Suspended
Srinagar (July 08,2023) : A huge landslide blocked the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Saturday, July 8, 2023, suspending traffic on the vital road. The landslide occurred near Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir. The landslide has blocked the highway at several places, and it is not clear when the road will be cleared. Traffic has been suspended on the highway in both directions.
The landslide has also caused damage to a few vehicles that were on the highway at the time of the incident. There have been no reports of any injuries or deaths. The authorities are working to clear the landslide and restore traffic on the highway. However, it is likely that the road will remain closed for several hours.
