In his message, the Prime Minister conveyed his wishes for the success, prosperity, and good health of all citizens. On Thursday morning, through a post on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed Eid greetings, stating “Eid-ul-Azha Mubarak” and extended his heartfelt wishes to the people.
The Prime Minister expressed hope that the festival of Eid would further deepen the spirit of brotherhood, harmony, and joy in society. He also prayed for the well-being and success of everyone across the country. Eid-ul-Azha, known as the festival of sacrifice, was observed on Thursday with religious devotion and traditional solemnity. Special prayers were held at major mosques and Eidgahs across the country, where large gatherings of devotees participated in the morning namaz.
Eid-ul-Azha is one of the most significant festivals in the Islamic calendar, symbolising sacrifice, faith, and compassion. The celebrations were marked by prayers, community gatherings, and messages of peace and unity, with leaders across the country joining in to extend their greetings to citizens.
