Delhi's former health minister, Satyendar Jain, has been admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in the capital city after experiencing complaints of breathlessness and high fever. The senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, who had previously tested positive for Covid-19, was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday evening.
Upon his admission, Jain was immediately attended to by a team of medical professionals who conducted a thorough examination and administered necessary medical treatments. The 56-year-old politician is currently under observation and is said to be stable, with his condition being closely monitored by the hospital staff.
Jain, who had played a crucial role in Delhi's fight against the pandemic during his tenure as the health minister, had contracted the virus in June last year as well. However, he had made a full recovery and had since been actively involved in the state's efforts to tackle the ongoing health crisis.
The news of Jain's hospitalization has sparked concerns among his colleagues and supporters, with many taking to social media to express their well wishes and prayers for his speedy recovery. Meanwhile, the Delhi government has assured the public that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure Jain receives the best possible care and treatment.
