The incident occurred at the Ivy County residential complex located in Sector 75, where flames engulfed an apartment on the 12th floor. The fire spread rapidly through the flat within a short period, triggering concern among residents and prompting an immediate emergency response.
The blaze reached authorities, multiple fire engines rushed to the spot and launched firefighting operations. Thick smoke could be seen billowing from the affected section of the building, causing alarm among residents of the housing complex. Firefighters worked swiftly to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to adjoining apartments.
The incident drew the attention of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who expressed concern over the fire at the Ivy County Housing Colony in Sector 75. The Chief Minister directed officials to expedite rescue and relief operations and ensure the safety of all residents. He also instructed the administration to remain on high alert and to provide every possible assistance to those affected by the incident.
The situation as rescue teams and emergency personnel continued their operations at the site. Efforts were focused on ensuring that residents were evacuated safely and that the fire was brought under control at the earliest possible time.
The same morning, another fire broke out at a restaurant located inside a commercial complex in Noida’s Sector 52. Fire department personnel quickly reached the location and successfully brought the blaze under control before it could cause major damage.
The Sector 52 incident, a fire department official said that the fire had erupted in a restaurant situated on the ground floor of a building. Initial information suggested that several people were trapped inside the premises when the fire started. Responding immediately, firefighting teams rushed to the scene and launched rescue operations using modern equipment and emergency response tools.
“Our teams reached the location without delay. A fire had broken out in a restaurant operating on the ground floor of the building. Preliminary reports indicated that a few individuals were trapped inside. Using all available modern firefighting equipment, our personnel managed to extinguish the blaze quickly. We have successfully rescued everyone who was trapped in the building,” the official stated.
The two fire incidents occurring within hours of each other have raised concerns about fire safety and emergency preparedness in Noida. Authorities are expected to investigate the causes of both fires and determine whether any safety lapses contributed to the incidents. Meanwhile, residents and business owners across the city have been urged to remain vigilant and adhere strictly to fire safety regulations to prevent similar accidents in the future.
