IIE Digital Desk: The Karnataka Congress have accused that the Bharatiya Janatya Party (BJP) of misusing the Raj Bhavan after Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot and have issued in a show-caused notice to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and notice have inspired in a political controversy in the state. 

Karnataka Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said, "Raj Bhavan has been misused by the BJP it is very clear. They used the power in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Delhi, and West Bengal, can be various numbers of examples. So there is no suprised and we thought that our Governor was compared to other BJP Governors better but looks like he also becoming a puppet in the hands of the BJP. The way is approaching things is very regrettable and unconstitutional. Today is cabinet meeting and after that meeting, our brief will say. The Congress party had alleges that the BJP is bargaining that the Governor's office for political gains, undermining democratic norms. According to the Congress, the show-cause notice is an attempt to destabilize the state government and discredit the Chief Minister. HK Patil said, "Right now it is in the stage of show- cause notice being given to Karnataka CM which is on the premises. We are discussing that in the Cabinet today. The Chief Minister has nominated a Deputy Chief Minister to preside since allegations are against the CM and show cause notice is been issued so he feels like he should not be a part of the discussion. He asked us to have a discussion and take a discussion.

Governor Gehlot's noticed concerned to specific actions taken by the Siddaramaiah administration and which the Governor claimed requires to justification. However, the Congress have argues that this move is politically motivated and part of a larger strategy by the BJP to interfere in the functioning of the state government.
