1. Never place a wet umbrella on dry seats
Keeping a dripping umbrella on a bus or train seat can make it uncomfortable for the next passenger. Similarly, entering shops or malls with a wet umbrella can leave floors slippery. Carry an umbrella cover or a plastic bag to store it properly and prevent water from dripping everywhere.

2. Choose an umbrella according to your size
The size of your umbrella should match your body and needs. A very large umbrella may be unnecessary for a shorter person unless travelling with a child, while a small umbrella may not provide enough protection for someone with a larger frame. Foldable three-section umbrellas are often a practical choice as they are easy to carry and store.

3. Be careful while opening and closing an umbrella
