IIE DIGITAL DESK : Bollywood actor Salman Khan has revealed a terrifying real-life experience from one of his high-risk stunt sequences, where he reportedly jumped from an 80-foot-high mountain and struggled to breathe for nearly 90 seconds after the stunt.
The actor shared that the moment was extremely challenging and physically overwhelming, as the intense altitude and landing conditions left him breathless and struggling to regain normal breathing for over a minute. He described the experience as one of the most difficult action moments of his career, highlighting the risks involved in performing real stunts without heavy body doubles or safety simulations.
The actor’s account, the stunt was designed to capture raw realism, but it pushed his physical limits far beyond expectations. The jump required precise timing and control, and any slight miscalculation could have led to serious injury. Despite the danger, he completed the sequence, but the aftermath left him gasping for air and momentarily disoriented.
Salman Khan also reflected on how such action scenes often appear effortless on screen but involve intense preparation, physical strain, and mental pressure behind the scenes. He noted that audiences rarely see the exhaustion and fear that actors experience during such demanding shoots.
The revelation adds to a long list of daring stunts performed by the actor over the years, reinforcing his reputation for high-intensity action roles in Indian cinema.
