IIE DIGITAL DESK :  April 6: Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, now 83, has opened up about his unwavering work ethic, revealing that taking a day off from work feels unsettling for him and disrupts his sense of routine. In a recent post on his personal blog, the megastar shared how deeply ingrained discipline and daily productivity are in his life, saying that a “lazy” day without work creates a sense of unease and imbalance.

Bachchan, whose career spans more than six decades and encompasses over 200 films along with his long‑running role as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati, explained that when he does not follow his usual schedule, the rhythm of his day feels disrupted and unfamiliar. He believes that staying engaged and active helps him maintain balance and purpose, even at this stage of his life.
