Barcelona Secures Hansi Flick for Longer Term After Consecutive La Liga Wins
IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Barcelona, May 19: Hansi Flick has extended his contract with Barcelona, the club announced on Monday. The 61-year-old coach, who led Barcelona to consecutive La Liga titles over the past two seasons, will remain at the helm of the Spanish club until June 2028.
The new agreement also includes an option to extend the contract by an additional year. Flick, who previously guided Bayern Munich to a historic treble, took charge of Barcelona in May 2024. Under his leadership, the team has achieved remarkable success in domestic competitions, and the club is confident that he will continue to drive Barcelona’s winning momentum in the coming years.
