use of Chinese manjha ahead of the festive season. The ban comes after several
incidents of people being injured or killed by the sharp glass-coated thread.
Chinese manjha is a type of kite string that is made with a
mixture of glass and nylon. It is extremely strong and can easily cut through
flesh. In recent years, there have been several incidents of people being
injured or killed when their kites have collided with Chinese manjha. The Delhi government has said that the ban is necessary to
ensure the safety of people. They have also warned that anyone found selling,
producing, or using Chinese manjha will be prosecuted.
