Bihar political crisis: Nitish Kumar resigns as CM, to form govt with BJP
IIE Digital Desk :Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar submitted his resignation to Governor Rajendra V Arlekar on January 28.
According to ANI, Kumar told the governor that his party JD(U) has decided to sever ties with the 'mahagathbandhan' or grand alliance in the state.
Kumar is expected form government with BJP's support and might take oath as the chief minister by evening today.
This comes as a major setback to the INDIA alliance ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
