IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Kolkata, June 8: Trinamool Congress leader Shreya Pandey appeared at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office at the CGO Complex in Kolkata on Monday in connection with the ongoing “Sona Pappu” case. She had been summoned for questioning and was originally scheduled to appear on Tuesday, but she arrived a day earlier than the stipulated date.

ED sources, during the investigation, analysis of seized mobile phones and other digital devices revealed several chat records in which the name of Shreya Pandey allegedly appeared. Based on these findings, she was called for questioning as part of the ongoing probe into financial transactions and digital communication linked to the case.

The central agency stated that the investigation is focusing on suspected monetary dealings, digital evidence, and possible connections between multiple individuals involved in the case. The ED is examining whether any financial irregularities or coordinated transactions took place under the “Sona Pappu” network.

Shreya Pandey has maintained that she appeared voluntarily at the ED office and claimed on social media that she had not received any fresh summons for Monday. She also stated that she has not violated any summons and denied any knowledge of an individual named “Sona Pappu”.

The ED is continuing its interrogation, and further action in the case will depend on the outcome of the ongoing investigation and analysis of collected evidence.
