Kolkata Rain : Residents to Witnessed Thunderstorm, IMD Issues in Yellow Alert
IIE Digital Desk: Amongst the intense humidity in Kolkata, the city are expected to be on "Yellow Alert" for thunderstorms and lightning on Monday. Kolkata are expected to witness a generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain or thundershowers. The maximum temperature can be reached 31 degree celsius, and the minimum temperature is expected to 26 degree celsius. In the last 24 hours, the record rainfall was 3mm, and relative humidity between 85 percent and 90 percent.
The week long rainfall and lower temperatures in the city are likely to bring some relief for the residents. On July 23,24 and 25 the city are expected to witnessed a generally cloudy skied with a few spells of rain or thunderstorms. Later on July 26 and 27, the city are anticipated to witness a generally cloudy sky, with the possibility of rain or thunderstorms.
As per the latest report, several area issues are on yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning. Areas which is included, Murshidabad, Birbhum, Paschim Bardhaman, Bankura, Purulia, Jhargram, Paschim Medinipur, Howrah, Kolkata, Purba Medinipur, South 24 Parganas, and few more areas received a yellow alert.
