U.S (June 22,2023) : Hope is fading for the five people who are missing after their submarine vanished near the wreck of the Titanic on Sunday. The submersible, called the Titan, was on a deep-sea tourist voyage to the world-famous, century-old shipwreck when it lost contact with its surface support ship. The Titan is equipped with enough oxygen for 96 hours, which means that the air supply is expected to run out on Thursday morning. However, experts say that the air supply could last longer depending on a number of factors, such as whether the submersible still has power and how calm the people aboard have remained.

Rescuers have been searching for the Titan since Sunday, but they have so far been unable to find any sign of the submersible or its occupants. The search area is vast, and the water is very deep, making the search difficult. The disappearance of the Titan is a reminder of the dangers of deep-sea diving. Submarines are complex machines, and even the slightest malfunction can have catastrophic consequences.
