IIE Digital Desk : The release of Vijay Deverakonda's much-anticipated spy thriller, Kingdom, has been rescheduled. Originally set to premiere on May 30, 2025, the film will now hit theaters on July 4, 2025.
The decision to postpone was attributed to unforeseen circumstances in the country, including heightened tensions following the Pahalgam terrorist attack and subsequent military operations. These developments have disrupted promotional activities, prompting the filmmakers to adjust the release timeline.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, known for his work on Jersey, Kingdom features Vijay Deverakonda in a leading role, alongside Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev. The film is produced under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The production team expressed gratitude to fellow filmmakers Dil Raju and Nithiin for their understanding, as the new release date coincides with the previously scheduled launch of Nithiin's film Thammudu. Adjustments are being made to accommodate both releases.
Kingdom is poised to be a significant addition to Indian cinema, offering audiences a gripping narrative set against a backdrop of espionage and national intrigue. Fans eagerly await its release, now slated for July 4, 2025.
